A parrot can mimic human speech, have interaction , learn tricks, and more.

I’m Mark Dillerop, and while I don’t claim to be an AI guru like many others do, I bring over 30 years of experience in digital transformation, strategy, and complex (public) service delivery — paired with a deep curiosity about how emerging technologies like AI can truly serve people, society and businesses.

I’ve studied at Harvard Business School, completing executive education programs including Driving Digital Strategy, Competing in the Age of Digital Platforms, Competing in the Age of AI, and Leading in the Digital Era. These formed the foundation of my HBS Digital Transformation Certificate, and I’m currently preparing to join the Leadership Development Program (LDP) — a next step in deepening both leadership and impact.

My academic background includes a Master of Science in Management from Nyenrode Business University and a Bachelor’s in Business Information Technology. I’ve worked across both the private and public sectors — from TomTom, Novartis, and Delta Lloyd, to nearly a decade at UWV, where I currently serve as a strategic advisor to the board of directors on digital transformation, organizational design, digital dexterity, and AI.

This site, pappega.ai, is where I gather and share what I’m learning. From wicked problems and complex systems to practical, everyday applications of AI — I aim to make insights accessible and connect the dots between strategy, technology, and human-centric public value.

All filtered through decades of experience, international exposure — and a touch of Dutch common sense.

What I plan to do
Navigating the dense Al-jungle of innovations, trends, and applications,
I plan to curate here a rich tapestry of information.
Ranging from fundamental Al principles to cutting-edge
technological advancements and convergence.

Stuff which helped me to understand the basics, delve into advanced topics,
or seek Al inspiration for nowadays business realities.

See is as a navigator and companion through that dense
Al jungle where we follow the echoing sounds of the PappegaAl.

But I also plan to look further ahead;
I’m very curious what the convergence of
the digital generation, robotization, artificial Intelligence/intuition,
more natural ways to interact with technology, ubiquitous high speed
wireless connectivity and advancements
in quantum computing wil bring.
